Tents Acquired for Semana Santa
Thanks to donations from the Roatan community, several tents were bought to shelter police officers, firefighters and people from the Red Cross during the Semana Santa. The police posts were set across the island of Roatan, from West Bay (shown here) all the way to the east end, with a very large tent in the area of Camp Bay.

Those tents are currently stored by Karina in Jackson Plaza. They will be used for special events on Roatan.

Special Thanks to all the sponsors who funded the urchase of the tents and helped with various aspects of the logistics for Semana Santa:

Judith Allred of Coxen Hole Day Care Center, Steve Hasz of Roatan Life, Suyapa Edwards of Parrot Tree Plantation, Ollie Thompson, Inn of Last Resort, Mark Halderman of Ticostone, Roatan Womens Club, Eldon's Supremarket, Danielle Vallée of Smart Pages & www.BayIslands411.com, Coronel Rodas-Gamero (Minister of Security), Comisario Julio Benitez, Mayor Dale Jackson (Roatan Municipalidad), Vice Major Delcy Jackson (Roatan Municipalidad), Joseph Solomon (Roatan Municipalidad), Mayor Perry Bodden (Santos Guardiola Municipalidad)
