One of the owners of the B&B is a mentally unstable and violent individual who has attacked several persons on the island in the last 18 months. The other one, his lover and a hairdresser, is not violent as such but he is clueless and puts people at risk by befriending them and making them a target for the violent one. You can also become a target by simply being a client of the hairdresser, even when they are (temporarily) living apart. You run a chance of getting in the middle of their numerous skirmishes and getting seriously injured. We have a complete first-hand account of such an attack and are reporting it because this individual is still demonstrating a violent streak at this time. This attack happened when he was under the influence of alcohol and some drugs that rendered him extremely strong and completely oblivious to pain.

That is how he ended up injured. He now takes pleasure by going around showing the scar on his arm and trying to gain pity from people who do not know any better. The fact is that he got his scar after he attacked a business woman one evening. His goal is to cause prejudice to the woman who defended herself in her own home. He was holding her by the hair and banging her head on the floor and he did not let go until she broke his arm. Amazingly, he still proceeded to ransack her house and drive his truck with a stick shift after his arm was broken. He does not like women and he likes to bully those that he thinks are weaker than he is. He is under the influence a great deal due to the fact that they both get unlimited free drinks in exchange for lending their upper deck for yoga classes.
